Daymark is a local-first journal and planner published by Static Labs. You can open the app and start writing without creating an account or setting an app password. An optional app password can be set later. Daymark has no Static Labs user account, advertising, analytics, or journal-upload server. It does not automatically back up or sync journal content to the cloud.
Information stored on your device
Daymark stores the journal entries, dates and times, profile names, tasks, projects, notes, priorities, due dates, checklists, reminders, settings and other information you choose to enter. If you use Pro attachments, the app can also store photos, video, audio recordings and files you select or capture. Journal content and supported attachments are encrypted in Daymark's private on-device storage. The optional app password protects access to the app; keep it safe.
Entry timestamps use your device's clock and time-zone settings. Daymark does not independently certify timestamps or guarantee that an entry will be admitted as evidence in court.
Backups, exports and sharing
You may create, restore and share a manual encrypted backup. You choose where a backup is saved or which installed app receives a shared copy. Daymark does not upload it automatically. Keep the backup password separately; Static Labs cannot recover it. Restoring a backup replaces existing app data after you confirm.
Text and spreadsheet exports are readable files, not encrypted backups. They can contain journal entries, plans and other information you choose to export. Once you save, print or share a file, the chosen destination app or provider controls its copy under its own privacy terms. Delete exported or shared copies from those destinations separately.
Google Play Billing
Google Play processes optional one-time Pro purchases and provides purchase information used by the app to unlock and restore Pro. Static Labs does not receive your payment-card details. Google handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. The app does not provide a journal account or cloud service.
Permissions and external apps
Camera, microphone, media or file access is used only when you choose to take or select an attachment. Android's file picker and share sheet send files only to the destination you select. The app may need network access for Google Play billing; journal content is not sent to Static Labs.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain in the app until you delete them, clear Daymark's storage or uninstall the app. Android may remove app data when you uninstall or clear storage. Backups and exported files are separate copies; find and delete them wherever you saved or shared them. Static Labs does not keep a server copy of your journal.
Children
Daymark is a general-purpose journal and planning app and is not designed for children.
