SNAPPOP / STATIC LABS
Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026. This policy covers SnapPop: Camera & Photo Studio for Android, published by Static Labs.
Your photos and videos
SnapPop processes your photos, videos, collages, and portrait effects on your device. Static Labs does not operate a server that receives your photo library or camera feed. SnapPop keeps imported and captured media in its app storage. Edits are saved as copies. Saving to Photos makes a separate copy in your device gallery. Sharing sends the file to the app or service you choose; its own privacy policy then applies. Imported originals may include metadata, such as location, already stored in the file.
Camera, microphone, and photo selection
Camera permission enables photo and video capture while you use the camera screen. Microphone permission is optional and enables sound in recordings. You choose the files to import using Android's photo or document picker. SnapPop does not request location permission or broad access to your entire photo library.
Portrait processing
Portrait cutout and face detection use bundled Google ML Kit models. Photo analysis takes place on your device. Face positions and image masks are used to apply your chosen effects; SnapPop does not create a face identity database or use them to identify you.
Purchases
Google Play handles the optional, one-time SnapPop Pro purchase. SnapPop receives product and signed purchase information, including a purchase token, to verify, acknowledge, and restore the unlock. The signed receipt is retained locally for offline access. Static Labs does not receive your payment card details. Google may retain transaction records under its own policies. Restore purchases using the same Google Play account.
Google services
SnapPop includes Google Play Billing and Google ML Kit. Google documents diagnostic and usage data for ML Kit, including app/device information, per-installation identifiers, performance information, feature events, and error codes. This build removes the app's direct Internet permission; its image processing remains local. Google Play and Google Play services may process data under their own settings and privacy policies. See ML Kit's data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy. SnapPop does not include advertising SDKs or a separate marketing analytics service.
Storage and deletion
You can remove SnapPop's copies in the library. Device-gallery exports and files shared elsewhere must be deleted in those destinations. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes SnapPop's local media, preferences, and locally retained receipts. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Google Play purchase records are managed by Google and are not deleted by uninstalling.
Support
If you email support, we receive the information and attachments you choose to send and use them to address your request. Avoid sending private photos unless they are necessary for your question. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting miker9926@gmail.com.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when SnapPop changes. The effective date above will identify the revision. Contact Static Labs at miker9926@gmail.com with privacy questions.
